Ally Robotics Arm –
Prototype Execution & CMF Development
For this project, we collaborated with Ally Robotics and Fresh Consulting to create a highly polished, presentation-ready model of their robotic arm. This prototype served as a centerpiece for photo shoots, videos, advertisements, and investor engagement, helping to build excitement around their innovative technology while also providing a validation model for pre-production testing.
Process:
CMF Definition & Execution: Worked closely with Ally Robotics to define and implement a CMF strategy that aligned with their brand vision, ensuring a sleek, production-intent look.
FDM Print Finishing: Transformed raw FDM 3D-printed components into a seamless, high-end final product. This process required extensive surface refinement—meticulously sanding, filling, and priming each part to eliminate layer lines and imperfections, achieving a level of polish rarely seen in FDM prints.
Structural Reinforcement: Fabricated and bonded steel armatures into critical components to provide structural integrity, ensuring the model was both durable and realistic for handling and presentation.
Faux Injection Mold Textures: Applied custom surface treatments to replicate the look of injection-molded parts, adding both visual and tactile refinement to the final model.
The Result?
Against an insanely tight deadline, we delivered a stunning, high-fidelity prototype that not only showcased Ally Robotics’ vision but also played a crucial role in securing their space in the industry. This model became a key tool in their marketing and validation efforts, bringing their product one step closer to production.
