3D-Printed Components & CMF Execution
For this project, we collaborated with HaptX, Anvil Studios, and Industrial Alchemy to refine the physical design of the G1 Glove + Airpack, a high-fidelity haptic system for enterprise VR applications. Our focus was on ensuring that every component met the highest standards of fit, finish, and brand alignment.
Process:
3D Printing & Finishing: Procured and refined all physical components to ensure seamless assembly and premium-quality detailing.
Color & Brand Integration: Executed the CMF strategy to align with HaptX’s identity, incorporating their signature yellow-orange and cool dark grey tones.
Surface Treatments & Textures: We meticulously developed multiple surface textures and finishes to enhance both the aesthetic and tactile experience of the product. A range of faux injection mold textures was strategically applied to create a seamless blend of matte and satin surfaces, adding depth and refinement. The dry transfer graphics were thoughtfully designed and placed to integrate branding without disrupting the sleek form, ensuring a polished, production-ready appearance. Additionally, precise color development was crucial—tuning hues and finishes to ensure consistency across materials while achieving the desired contrast between functional and visual elements.
The Result?
A cohesive, high-end physical design that elevates the HaptX G1’s presence, reinforcing its cutting-edge technology with an equally sophisticated finish. This model was used for photo shoots, product launches, and marketing efforts—helping generate excitement and anticipation for HaptX’s groundbreaking technology.
